About Us
Our Story

It all started in August 2021, when a mutual friend was visiting Seattle. Amrit was back home visiting his family, and Nandita had just moved for her teaching job. We had heard about each other for years, and after finally meeting, our connection was both immediate and easy.

We decided to make it work across three years of long distance, Amrit in Chicago, and Nandita in Seattle and eventually LA, and continued to have the best time with each other on every visit, vacation, and long evening walk.

In 2024, Amrit moved to LA, and our love and joy has only continued to grow. We are now so ready to celebrate with the people we love!

Questions & Answers
FAQ
What is the dress code?
We'd love for our guests to dress in festive, celebratory attire. Indian traditional or fusion wear is very welcome and encouraged! We've also shared specific dress code details in the Schedules tab. We'll share specific dress code details for each event closer to the date.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The Wedding Ceremony will be held in the Lighthouse Courtyard, which is an outdoor venue. Other events are indoors. We recommend comfortable footwear for the courtyard, especially for the ceremony.
Are children and plus ones welcome?
All guests listed on your invitation are welcome to join!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach has on-site valet parking as well as a self-park garage. If you are staying at the hotel, parking details will be shared at check-in.
What is the weather like in June?
June in Huntington Beach is beautiful! Expect temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s°F. It can be a bit breezy, so we recommend a light layer for outdoor events.
Will there be transportation between events?
All events are taking place at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, so no transportation between venues is needed! If you're staying at the hotel, you can simply walk between events.
When should I book my hotel room?
We recommend booking as soon as possible!
I have a dietary restriction. Will there be options for me?
Absolutely. Please make sure to note your dietary restrictions on your RSVP form and we will ensure there are appropriate options for you at all meals and events.
Can I take photos and videos?
Yes, feel free to take photos and videos! However, during the wedding ceremony itself, we ask that you be fully present and refrain from using phones or cameras.
